“Hootie Frutti” has become one of the standout tracks off KATSEYE’s third EP WILD, generating buzz on social media even before its official release through the group’s highlight medley. Produced by Thom Bridges, who’s also worked with LE SSERAFIM and ENHYPEN, the song opens with Daniela delivering a Portuguese line translating to “I know you like the fruit, but this one is different,” before launching into its hook. Since Manon remains on hiatus, she’s not vocally present on the track at all, making it one of the clearest audio markers of the group’s current four-active-member reality.
