TUIDE held their first-ever live performance well before their official August 24 debut, an unusual move even by K-pop standards. Called “TUIDE Exclusive Preview [Playground],” the two-day event took place August 1-2 at Layer Studio 11 in Seoul’s Mapo District, where all seven members performed every track off their upcoming EP “Tune & Play” live for a small, lottery-selected crowd of fans.

What makes it stand out is the timing: this happened before TUIDE had even publicly revealed their faces or individual profiles, flipping the usual rollout order most groups follow. No phones, cameras, or livestreaming were allowed inside, keeping the unreleased songs contained to the 225 fans selected per day. ABD, the new HYBE label behind the group, framed it as a way to let people discover TUIDE’s artistry before anything else about them.
