KATSEYE just hit the most stacked release window of their two-year career, an EP, a documentary, a late-night debut, and a sold-out tour on the way, all while operating with two of their six members sidelined. Here’s how it’s all lining up.
The Full Lineup

“WILD,” the group’s third EP, dropped August 14th via HYBE x Geffen Records, following the top-five Billboard 200 debut of last year’s “Beautiful Chaos.” Two days before the EP, the companion documentary “KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS,” directed by Nadia Hallgren (known for Michelle Obama’s “Becoming”), opened in limited theaters worldwide. The same week also brought the group’s first-ever late-night performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and a set at NBC’s Citi Concert Series. Their sold-out Wildworld Tour, the group’s first true world tour, kicks off September 1st in Dublin and runs through late November.
[MY TAKE]
It’s definitely a lot going on for KATSEYE considering two members are on hiatus. I think they should be prioritizing everyone being healthy, instead of prioritizing how many hit songs and tours they can rack up.
Two Members, Two Different Stories

Manon has been on hiatus since February, cited as a step back to focus on her health and wellbeing. Sophia followed in August, with HxG confirming her own mental health hiatus and noting her condition will be reassessed in September. Both are confirmed to appear in the “Wild Hearts” documentary despite their absence from current promotion, and neither hiatus has been announced as permanent.
[MY TAKE]
Honestly, Sophia and Manon’s hiatuses feel completely different to me. Sophia is on hiatus, but it still feels like she’s a part of the group. Manon’s feels very indefinite, because of how constantly she’s been erased from the group’s messaging and imagery.
Carrying It Without Them
