Ranking Every Song On KATSEYE’s “WILD” EP

KATSEYE’s third EP, WILD, dropped August 14 via HYBE x Geffen Records, featuring five main tracks plus a Target-exclusive bonus song. Here’s how every track stacks up.

1. “Bel Air”

Beautiful vocals, hands down. This one reminds me of OG KATSEYE, back when they’d really show off their voices instead of leaning on production. Easily the standout of the EP.

2. “That Way”

A more mature concept for KATSEYE, but they executed it so well. Gives off major 2000s song energy, in the best way.

3. “Unloveu”

Another gorgeous vocal moment. And I love that this one was written by Lara, finally letting the girls express themselves through their own writing instead of always relying on outside songwriters.

4. “Hootie Frutti”

I wish I could like this one more. The vibes are there, very tea, but the actual song just doesn’t fully make sense to me.

5. “Pinky Up”

This song makes zero sense, but it’s undeniably catchy. Can’t skip it even if I can’t fully explain it.

“Animal”

I really wish this was one I could like. It’s just so plain and neurotypical. The Ed Sheeran co-write and Demi Moore cameo got all the hype, but the song itself didn’t do it for me.
