LE SSERAFIM and Overwatch Did It Again: Inside the “Made My Night” MV

LE SSERAFIM and Overwatch Did It Again: Inside the “Made My Night” MV

When LE SSERAFIM dropped “Perfect Night” with Blizzard, it blew up way bigger than anyone expected. It did not feel like an awkward corporate brand deal either. The song charted, the skins were everywhere in the game, and both fandoms loved it. Now the group is back with Overwatch for their new music video “Made My Night,” and they went full anime action movie with it.

Kidnapped by Fanboys

The funniest part hits when they finally break into the hideout. The giant robots are not evil at all. They are literally just massive FEARNOTs asking Chaewon, Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae for autographs and doing the dance moves with them.

[MY TAKE]

the robot fanboy twist definitely was a hit, it fit in perfectly with the sci-fi futuristic theme.

Why This Collab Actually Works

Most gaming collabs in K-pop feel totally forced, like two PR teams just slapping logos together for a quick check. But LE SSERAFIM fits right into this world. The track is catchy on its own, the animation looks super clean, and gamers actually play with these skins. With new cosmetics hitting the game right alongside the video, it feels like a real pop culture moment instead of a throwaway ad.

[MY TAKE]

LE SSERAFIM pulls off video game crossovers so cleanly honestly because of their visuals, and they tied in the robots and futuristic concept with a videogame in a super cool and cohesive way.

Getting Ready for BlizzCon

Dropping the music video today gives them crazy momentum right before the single album hits streaming platforms tomorrow, September 11. They are also taking this track straight to the BlizzCon stage this weekend to perform it live, proving their crossover appeal is only getting bigger.

[MY TAKE]

LE SSERAFIM can take many routes with their BlizzCon stage, but i know it’ll definitely be a hit, especially since their song was also a video game collab.
